Frequently Asked Questions
How would you describe your photographic style?
Contemporary, Photojournalism. We love to capture life as it happens. We will certainly provide you with your classic "formal" portraits as well - those are important to have - but our heart and soul lies telling your story candidly, as it unfolds.
What sets you two apart?
We're different for a couple significant reasons.
First, we hope our photographs speak for themselves and that you enjoy our work - we love what we do and hope it shows! We only deliver the images that are up to par on levels of composition, clarity and color with high standards that we've set for ourselves.
Secondly, we do all we can to provide each client with incredible customer service. From the time you first contact us, to when you receive your heirloom quality album in the mail, to when you have a quick question about an image we took five years ago at your sister's wedding - we aim to serve and encourage you each step of the way.
Where can I read reviews from your previous clients?
We encourage our wedding clients in particular to head over to our Wedding Wire page (click on the icon below) where you can read reviews from our previous brides and grooms. We also recently were selected for their 2014 Couple's Choice Awards.
Also, if you look closely at our portrait and wedding portfolios, you will see many of the same smiling faces. Our brides and grooms frequently recommend us to their closest friends and family, an honor we don't take lightly! We've also photographed many of our wedding clients' newborns as they've stepped into their next seasons of life. Word of mouth is our favorite advertising, especially when we've been blessed with such wonderful clients!
Are you insured?
Yes. We are insured through the Professional Photographers Association/Lockton Affinity.
Do you edit/develop your own photographs?
Yes. Joshua personally develops each digital photograph in house. We pride ourselves in realistic colors, compelling composition and crisp/clear images.
Are you members of any professional organizations?
Yes. We are members of The Professional Photographers of America.
Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?
Yes! We use professional cameras that capture events in low lighting as well as bright outdoor conditions. We use wireless flash on light stands when needed to provide artistic lighting as well. We color calibrate our cameras in each lighting condition and take great care in digitally developing each photograph. This insures accurate skin tones and colors.
Do you charge for travel?
In most circumstances, we charge by the mile for any events/sessions that are more than 50 miles outside of Walpole, MA. We charge $0.50 cents per mile round trip, as well as room/board if necessary.
How long are my images available for viewing?
We feel strongly that our clients should have their images available to them forever. Thus your personal Online Gallery never expires. Your gallery not only is a stunning way to show friends and family your photographs/slideshows but can also serve as a valuable back up in case your photographs are lost or damanged.

How soon after the event are the photographs ready for viewing?
Within a couple days we love to provide clients with a "sneak peak" online with a handful of our favorite photographs. (We do this via your personal Online Gallery)
For small portrait sessions, photographs are usually available about one week. For weddings we try our best to have your entire wedding completed in 1 -2 months or less.

Our albums range from coffee table style books all the way up to large scale, (gorgeous!), leather-bound albums that showcase your images in grand style.
